Lead Kayak Instructor

Ben lives in central Vermont with his wife and two children. Over the past 20+ years, Ben has developed his knowledge, skills, and experience while working alongside exceptionally skilled educators at a variety of paddling schools, outfitters, nonprofits, and university programs throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Ben’s diverse experience and skill set include teaching river kayaking, swiftwater rescue, stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, and sea kayaking. His strengths lie in his enthusiasm for sharing his passion for paddlesports with others, his commitment to continuing to grow and develop as both a paddler and instructor, and his strong interpersonal skills.
